Event Horizon

At Nightmares Fear Factory in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, you will find horror, and horror will find you too. In the Nightmares Fear Factory, the halls are dark, narrow, and long. The walls shift. The eyes watch. Hands reach. Things scream.

At Nightmares Fear Factory, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, you will find out how brave you are.

In the future, humans will make attempts to travel faster than the speed of light.

It’s not possible yet—put simply, things become heavier the faster they go, and therefore slow down—many attempts have been made by writers to try to figure out how we’ll do it.

After all, science fiction where most of the movie is just getting somewhere would be pretty boring.

In the 2000 release Event Horizon such a way is found. Put simply, a controlled black hole would fold space as though you were folding a paper, then poke a hole through the paper using the singularity’s gravity, then pass through the resulting hole. Afterward, space would flatten back out, with the ship on the other side of the paper.

This is actually based on one of Sir Stephen Hawking’s original theories on wormholes. What Mr. Hawking never mentioned was the possibility that there might be something in between.

In Event Horizon, the ship named after the movie passes through a dimension which Christian texts describe as “Hell” on its way to the other side of space.

As a result, the crew is tortured and killed, and the ship itself gains a type of malevolent sentience which it uses to send out a distress beacon. Several years later, a rescue ship arrives carrying Lawrence Fishburne, Sam Neill and Kathleen Quinlan to try to salvage the wreck.

The beauty of this story, and its horror, is somewhere beyond space. I don’t think anybody is worried about the dark, by itself. What they’re worried about is what might be hiding inside of it—or in this case, peering through the gaps in the universe it leaves.

Peering into, potentially, the heart of Hell itself.

If you’d ever like to experience a similar feeling, we do have a suggestion.

One of the places you can head to is Nightmares Fear Factory, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The demons there will stalk you, in your isolated darkness. Screams and the smell of blood are just as present there as they are in Event Horizon, and you will have to fight tooth and nail not to take it home with you.

In the darkness and silence of Nightmares Fear Factory in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Hell has a built a port, and there will be no screen to protect you. You will not be safe.

The paper has been folded and filled with holes, at the Nightmares Fear Factory, and they are watching you from the other side of infinity.
