Elvis is in Niagara Falls
Here at the Nightmares Fear Factory in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, we understand that fear, horror, and terror are often just a matter of perception. Except in the case where you are actually down inside the Nightmares Fear Factory, where they are constant realities.
Next month, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, at the Greg Frewin Theatre, there will be a three-day all-out Elvis Presley experience. The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Experience is slated between May 19th and May 21st, and will run as a complement to the Niagara Falls Elvis Festival.
The Niagara Falls Elvis Festival will see a variety of Elvis tribute acts played across two days and a night which will actually be a competition between those acts to see which is the very best Elvis impersonator around.
This is the very first Niagara Falls Elvis Festival, and since it is directly licensed by the Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. | Graceland corporation, you know that everything is going to be top quality. Across the three days, there will be a huge variety of shows, fantastic food, and a number of contests and prizes for the attendants.
With Friday’s dinner starting things off, then finishing with an after-party, Saturday takes you directly into the contest. Saturday has lunch and dinner featured in between acts, and then takes you right into a performance by the 2009 Winner of the Ultimate Tribute Artist Winner. Bill Cherry performs his amazing take on the King of Rock and Roll, and is followed by an after party.
Sunday features a Gospel breakfast (in good Southern tradition) followed by the finalists having a perform-off, and the winner will be picked that very night.
Who will be crowned the best current-day King? You’ll have to go to the Niagara Falls Elvis Festival to find out.
With nine incredible competitors, all taking the stage during the Festival, the only thing you can be really sure about is that if you’re into Elvis Presley, you’re going to get all the Elvis Presley you’ve ever wanted and then some.
But how does this fit the Nightmares Fear Factory trope? We’re a horror show, after all, and if it seems odd to you that we’re writing about the nearby Niagara Falls Elvis Festival, well, you have to look no further than the rest of the spring season and Easter.
If you’ve ever really thought about it, spring seems like that moment where everything that has lain dormant for a while should start to crawl to the service. The lines between life and death seem to get all fuzzy.
Between a religious saviour making his way to Heaven, a musician who may have been abducted by aliens attempting to reincarnate himself on Earth, and people trying to turn themselves into living zombies on April 20th, the spring season seems to be a pretty terrifying place.
Nowhere, though, is it more terrifying than down in the depths of the Nightmares Fear Factory, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Remember to go and look up the coming Niagara Falls Elvis Festival and book your admission.
